Composition of the hydraulic system

It is composed of five parts: power element (oil pump), executive element (oil cylinder or hydraulic motor), control element (various valves), auxiliary element and working medium.


1. Power component (oil pump): Its function is to convert the mechanical energy of the liquid into hydraulic pressure energy by the prime mover; it is the power part of the hydraulic transmission.

2. Executive components (oil cylinder, hydraulic motor): It converts the hydraulic energy of the liquid into mechanical energy. Among them, the oil cylinder makes linear motion, and the motor makes rotary motion.

3. Control components: including pressure valves, flow valves and directional valves. Their function is to steplessly adjust the speed of the hydraulic motor according to the needs, and to regulate and control the pressure, flow and flow direction of the working fluid in the hydraulic system.

4. Auxiliary components: Other components other than the above three parts, including pressure gauges, oil filters, energy storage devices, coolers, pipe fittings {mainly include: various pipe joints (flare type, welded type, ferrule type, sae flange), high pressure ball valve, quick change joint, hose assembly, pressure test joint, pipe clamp, etc.} and fuel tank, etc., they are also very important.

5. Working medium: The working medium refers to the hydraulic oil or emulsion in various hydraulic transmissions, which realizes energy conversion through oil pumps and hydraulic motors. The hydraulic system is to achieve movement and power transmission through the medium.
