Difference between single acting vane pump and double acting vane pump

2023-01-02

Single acting vane pump:

1) Singular number of blades, generally about 15 pieces; the blades are inclined backward according to the direction of rotation;

2) The stator, rotor and shaft are subjected to unbalanced radial force;

3) The oil passage groove at the bottom of the blade adopts the high pressure area for high pressure and the low pressure area for low pressure to balance the force on the bottom and top of the blade, and the blade is close to the stator by centrifugal force and inertial force.

Double acting vane pump:

1) Even number of blades, usually 12 or 16; the blades are tilted forward according to the direction of rotation;

2) The stator, rotor and shaft are subjected to balanced radial force;

3) The oil grooves at the bottom of the blades are filled with pressure oil, and the blades are tightly attached to the stator by the centrifugal force and the pressure oil at the bottom of the blades.
