How is the vane pump works

Vane pump is a pump in which the vanes in the rotor groove contact with the  pump casing (stator ring) to press the sucked liquid from the oil inlet side to the oil outlet side.

When the rotor of the vane pump rotates, the tip of the vane is close to the inner surface of the stator under the action of centrifugal force and pressure oil. In this way, the working volume formed by the two blades and the inner surfaces of the rotor and stator absorbs oil from small to large first, and then discharges oil from large to small. When the blades rotate for one cycle, oil absorption and oil discharge are completed twice.
