How to maintain a hydraulic pump

The hydraulic oil pump is a very important hydraulic component in the hydraulic system. It mainly provides power to the hydraulic system and is the heart part of the hydraulic system. But how to maintain it?

Maintenance points of hydraulic oil pump:

1.After purchasing the oil pump, if it is not used in time, the inside should be injected with anti-rust oil, and the exposed surface should be coated with anti-rust grease, and then cover the oil port dust cover.

2. When piping, the iron filings and residues left in the oil tank and pipeline, especially the cloth strips, often cause the oil pump to malfunction and must be removed carefully.

3. Keep the oil temperature within 15-60 ℃, especially avoid high temperature frontier operation, otherwise the life of the oil pump will be greatly shortened, if necessary, set up heating and cooling devices.

4. Maintain the normal oil level, when the capacity of the piping and the oil cylinder is large, although enough oil is initially put in, after the oil enters the pipeline and the oil cylinder, the oil level will drop, and the oil filter will be exposed. Therefore, the oil must be replenished again, and leakage will occur during use, and a liquid level gauge should be set in the oil tank for frequent observation and replenishment.

5. Regularly check the oil performance, replace it when it fails to meet the specified requirements, and clean the oil tank.

6. The oil filter should be cleaned frequently for smooth oil absorption.

7. After the oil pump has been working for a period of time, (due to vibration) the mounting screws may be loosened. Pay attention to inspection and tighten them to prevent loosening.

8. The maximum peak value of the hydraulic impact force of the system shall not exceed the maximum pressure of the hydraulic system.
