Inspection and solution of gear pump noise in hydraulic system

Because of its simple structure, cheap price and low work requirements, gear pumps are widely used in hydraulic systems. Improper use of gear pumps is prone to noise, which can generally be checked and eliminated from the following five aspects.

1. The diameter of the oil inlet pipe of the gear pump is too small:

Solution: Replace the oil inlet pipe with a larger diameter

2. The oil filter is blocked, or the speed is too high:

Solution: clean the oil filter or reduce the speed

3. Gear error or two gear axes are not parallel:

Solution: Replace the main precision gear to ensure that the axes of the two gears are parallel

4. The motor and the oil pump shaft are not concentric:

Solution: Adjust the coaxiality of the pump body and the motor, and the error should not exceed 0.01mm

5. There is no paper pad on both sides of the gear oil pump pump body and cover to produce hard impact, the pump body and the pump cover are not vertically sealed, and air is sucked in when rotating:

Solution: Add a paper pad between the pump body and the pump cover of the gear oil pump, and grind the parallelism between the pump body and the pump cover to no more than 0.005mm
