Precautions for use of AR16/AR22-FR01B, AR16/AR22-FR01C variable piston pump
1. Hydraulic oil of AR series variable piston pump:
■Hydraulic fluid
The oil viscosity range that can be used is 20~400mm/s and clean petroleum-based hydraulic oil (equivalent to ISOVG32 or 46) when the temperature is 0-~60C.
■Prevent debris from getting mixed in
Oil contamination can cause pump failure and shorten its life. Attention must be paid to oil pollution control, and please keep the pollution level within NAS10.
The suction port must be equipped with a tank oil filter of at least 100 μm (150 μm). The oil return line must be installed with a pipeline oil filter smaller than 10μm.
2. Precautions for using AR variable piston pump:
■Pump installation
When installing the pump, the oil filler port should be positioned upward.
■Shaft alignment
Use flexible couplings wherever possible to avoid any stresses due to bending or thrust forces. Note that the maximum allowable non-axiality error TIR (Total Indicator Reading) is less than 0.1mm, and the maximum allowable angular error is less than 0.2°.
■Suction pressure
The allowable suction pressure at the pump inlet is between -16.7~+50kPa. For the suction port, use piping with the same diameter as the pipe flange specified for the AR pump. The height of the suction inlet of the pump must be less than 1m from the tank liquid level.
■Piping instructions
When steel pipes are used at the suction inlet or outlet, noise may be generated due to the additional load placed on the pump by the piping. To avoid additional loads, use rubber hoses.
■Suction tube
If the pump is installed above the liquid level, the suction pipe and suction pipe oil filter should not be higher than the pump interface to prevent air from entering the suction pipe.
■Drain pipe
Install the drain pipeline according to the table below, and ensure that the pressure in the pump chamber remains below the normal pressure of 0.1MPa and the impact pressure is less than 0.5MPa. The piping length is less than 1m. It should be installed separately and not merged with the oil return pipe. The end of the pipe should be immersed in oil.
■Exhaust
In order to avoid vibration caused by mixed air in the pump casing and pipeline, it is necessary to deflate the air. For this reason, it is recommended to use an exhaust valve at the output pipeline.
■Attention when starting
Before starting for the first time, fill the AR pump 430em' with clean operating fluid through the filler port. In order to avoid air blockage during the first start-up, adjust the hydraulic circuit so that the oil output from the pump returns directly to the tank, or use a reversing valve to make the actuator run under no-load conditions.
■Adjustment of pressure and flow
When shipped from the factory, the pump is adjusted for maximum flow and minimum pressure. The flow rate and pressure can be adjusted according to the working conditions.
■Pressure adjustment
Turn the pressure adjustment screw clockwise to increase pressure. The corresponding adjustment amount for 1 turn of the adjusting screw is shown in the table below. Be sure to tighten the screws after adjustment.
■Flow adjustment
Adjust the pressure and force adjustment screw clockwise to reduce the flow rate. The corresponding adjustment amount for 1 turn of the adjustment screw is shown in the table below. Be sure to tighten the screws after adjustment.
