Troubleshooting of T6 Series Vane Pumps

2023-01-15

T6 series vane pump is a pump in which the vanes in the rotor groove are in contact with the pump casing (stator ring), and the sucked liquid is pressed from the oil inlet side to the oil discharge side. T6 series vane pumps should be protected against dry running and overloading. In addition to excessive suction air and suction vacuum, attention should also be paid to:

vane pump

1. If the direction of the pump changes, its suction and discharge direction will also change. The vane pump has a specified direction of rotation, and reverse installation is not allowed. Because the rotor vane groove is inclined, the vane is chamfered, the bottom of the vane pump is connected to the oil discharge chamber, and the throttling groove and suction and discharge ports of the oil distribution plate are designed according to the established rotation. Reversible vane pumps must be specially designed.

2. Assembling the T6 series vane pump, the oil distribution plate and the stator are positioned correctly with the positioning pin. The vanes, rotors, and oil distribution plate must not be installed upside down. The suction area of the inner surface of the stator is easy to wear. The suction area becomes the discharge area and continues to be used.

3. Disassembly and assembly: pay attention to the cleanliness of the working surface, and the oil should be well filtered during work.

4. If the gap between the T6 series blades in the blade groove is too large, the leakage will increase, and if the gap is too large, the blades cannot be stretched freely, which will lead to malfunction.
