Hydraulic oil pump installation sequence, method and precautions

As the power component of the hydraulic system, the hydraulic oil pump is very important in the order and method of its installation. Once the installation is not good, it will easily lead to failure. Next, I will explain the installation order, method and some precautions of the hydraulic oil pump.

First, the installation method and sequence of the oil pump:

1. Put the unit on the foundation embedded with anchor bolts, and use a pair of wedge washers for calibration between the base and the foundation.

2. Loosen the large coupling, place the level on the pump shaft and the base, adjust the wedge pad to correct the level of the unit, and properly tighten the anchor bolts to prevent movement.

3. Correct the concentricity of the pump shaft and the motor shaft. On the outer circle of the coupling road, the allowable deviation is 0.1 mm; the gap between the two coupling planes should be guaranteed to be 2-4 mm, and the gap should be uniform. Tolerance 0.3 mm.

4. After connecting the pipeline and determining the rotation direction of the motor, connect the coupling and check the concentricity of the shaft again.

5. After the actual trial operation of the unit for 2 to 3 hours, make a final inspection. If there is no bad phenomenon, it is considered that the installation is qualified. During the test run, check the temperature and vibration of the bearing as follows:

6. During the installation process, in order to prevent sundries from falling into the machine, all the holes of the unit should be covered.

7. In order to prevent debris in the pipeline from entering the pump, for the newly installed pipeline, a filter should be installed in the pump glue, and its effective cross section should be 2 to 3 times larger than the cross section of the suction pipe.

Matters needing attention in the process of installing hydraulic oil pump:

1. The installation quality of the oil pump has a very important influence on the smooth operation and service life of the pump, so the installation and correction work must be carried out carefully and not act hastily.

2. The installation height, length and pipe diameter of the suction pipe of the oil pump should meet the calculated values, and strive to be short and reduce unnecessary losses (such as elbows, etc.); and ensure that the pump does not exceed its allowable NPSH when it is working.

3. The suction and discharge lines of the oil pump should have brackets. The pump is not allowed to bear the load of the pipeline.

4. The location where the oil pump is installed should be spacious enough to facilitate maintenance work.
