Installation and use

1. During installation, the coaxiality error between the pump shaft and the drive motor shaft should be <0.10mm (total reading difference of the dial gauge), the maximum allowable angle error should be <0.2°, and a flexible coupling should be used. The pump shaft should not bear radial and axial loads; the support structure should be firm, rigid, and able to fully absorb vibration.

2. Suction pressure at the pump suction port: the recommended inlet pressure is 0~+35KPa.

3. Keep the oil clean, the pipeline and oil tank must be thoroughly cleaned; the oil accuracy level should be within NSA12 level.

4. The normal operation of the pump (under rated conditions) is based on the use of SAE10W oil in the range of 38℃ to 82℃ (or corresponding viscosity).

5. Before starting the pump, check whether the inlet and outlet oil ports and the direction of rotation are correct; after the entire pump is installed, turn the pump shaft by hand, which should be uniform and flexible. At the first start, if the pump is not oiled immediately, the air should be discharged from the oil outlet pipe of the pump.

6. When the pump is put into use for the first time, the pump body and the oil suction pipe should be filled with oil. Never allow the pump to run without oil.

7. Do not start the pump when the outlet pressure is lower than the inlet pressure, which will cause working noise and blade instability.

8. Cold start condition: When using SAE10W oil in the range of 860~40cSt, the speed and pressure should be limited to 50% of their respective ratings until the system is warmed up. When the oil viscosity exceeds 860cSt, special attention should be paid when starting to warm up the entire system, including the remote cylinder and motor.

9. When running at high temperature, the viscosity must not be lower than 13cSt and the temperature must not exceed 99℃, because the expected life of the pump core components and seals will be shortened.
