Features:

(1) The flow rate can be changed by altering the eccentricity between the stator the rotor. When the eccentricity is reversed, the suction and discharge directions are also reversed; 

(2) The top of the vane in the discharge chamber subjected to the pressure of the oil, which tends to push the vane into the rotor slot. To ensure that the top of the vane reliably contacts the surface of the stator, the bottom of the vane on the discharge side is connected to the discharge chamber through special grooves. The bottom of the v on the suction side is connected to the suction chamber, where the vane is pressed against the inner surface of the stator by centrifugal force alone; 

(3) Due to the unbalanced radial hydraulic forces on the rotor, this type of pump is generally not suitable for high-pressure applications; 

(4) To facilitate the extension of the vane under the action of inertia, the vane is given a tilt angle opposite to the direction of rotation, known as the back angle, is usually 24 degrees.
